We are officially into spring and since my last message in Nov 2013, everyone will agree that the past winter has been nothing less than treacherous, cold and tiring. Consequently, we all look forward to a warm spring and hot summer to make up for the past winter.
I would like to take this opportunity to update our community with the forthcoming events. Therefore, mark your calendars with the following events.
First of all, the committee has arranged a Sunderkand Path with Hanuman Chalisa on April 12th 2014 at Bharat Mata Mandir in Brampton. In addition to our usual flyer that has been uploaded on vanzacanada.com for viewing, we will now be sending an email to all community members that provided us with their email addresses. I encourage those who have not submitted their email addresses to do so, so that we can keep you in touch . Subsequently, from hereon, your cooperation in advising us with the number of people attending, from the family by RSVP will be greatly appreciated for all events.
Secondly, our annual Vanza Golf Day will be held on Sunday, July 20th 2014. Venue to be announced.
Thirdly, our annual Vanza Picnic will be held on Sunday, August 24th 2014. Further details to be announced.
Fourthly, this year’s Vanza Navratri will be held on Saturday, September 27th 2014 at Meadowvale Secondary School, Mississauga.
Lastly, our final event for the year, Vanza Diwali & New Year will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2014 at Natraj Banqet Hall, Brampton.
**Members are urged and requested to provide their email addresses as there will be no postal mailing of flyers from hereon. Your understanding and cooperation is greatly appreciated. It is my humble request & wish to each and everyone in our community, living near or far, to make every effort to attend all events of our community.**
To the entire committee members, my thanks for your endless support & dedication.
On behalf of our entire committee and myself, I’d like to thank everyone for their support & wish each and everyone, a safe and pleasant summer.
